Few random thoughts for the day 25-09-2024 Shashank Purandare It is exactly three years ago today that my neck was cut open to fix my spinal cord stenosis issue. Don’t know if I should celebrate or observe the anniversary by cutting a cake or not !

Elsewhere things are crazy as ever. Mr Uddhav Thakre says he never had a wish to become CM. If he had allowed Mr Eknath Shinde to become CM in the MVA rule, Shiv Sena would have been intact and much better off. Today he has to beg for CM ship. How, with very limited public support Mr Sharad Pawar can control everything is beyond me. Just goes to show how useless are others.

Mr Manoj Jarange Patil will soon break Mahatma Gandhi and Anna Hazare’s record for number of fasts. He is doing even better than all my aunties together who used to fast almost every alternate day. Patil and everyone else knows that nothing is going to happen until after the assembly elections. Just wants to keep pot boiling.

Who fought senate elections for Mumbai university? BJP, Shivsena, Manase. What a joke! Do students even study these days??? TISS students are always busy protesting something or the other. No wonder TISS value is going down.

When Akshay Shinde molested small girls, it took ages for authorities to even register a complaint but the High court is willing to consider his so called encounter killing almost immediately. Mr Sharad Pawar is very concerned about the encounter, but to hell with the molested victim!

While Biden is fumbling through his last days of Presidency, USA keeps feeling wars in Ukraine and Gaza Strip to keep its arms industry prosperous. With support from USA, Israel is on a killing spree in Lebanon, using mobile bombs and what not! The whole world watches silently.

No matter what, stock market is booming making rich richer day by day. But I am not complaining while I sit and watch my retirement funds grow !!!!

Middle class is not allowed to complain either when their hard earned money is taxed and then distributed to pyaari behenas as free gifts!

Everyone ought to watch Rangoli on Doordarshan national channel every Sunday at 8 am if you like good old Hindi film music. Presentation by Hrishita Bhat is top class, as is the song selection. This program is followed by a program on cyber crime. It is a must watch for everyone. It would save you from cyber fraud someday!!
